Babel attends Vision 2002 in Gothenburg on July 21 to 25, 2002

Babel attends Innovation through Communication days (Luxembourg)

Babel will attend this specialised technology transfer day consisting of a conference, presentations and an exhibition organized by Luxinnovation in cooperation with SES, operator of the ASTRA satellite system, broadcasting television and radio programs as well as multimedia contents. This event will gather lecturers and exhibitors from Luxembourg and the Greater Region (Luxembourg, Wallonie, Lorraine, Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate) in the fields of telecommunications, multimedia and measurement methods. This event will give the participants the opportunity to diversify and improve their products, by discovering still unused technologies like Speech Recognition or Text To Speech or Speaker Verification.

New US English voices available for Text To Speech products

Babel-Infovox has released two new American English Voices (Larry and Lucy) for its full range of Text-To-Speech products (Infovox 330) based on diphone technologies.

The new voices give higher intelligibility and naturalness and a significantly improved transcription accuracy for this particular language.

Babel-Infovox released the new InfoVox 330 version 2.2 TTS system. New update include new transcription data increasing phonetic transcription accuracy for many different languages (US English, Norwegian, Danish, German...).
